Why I built shortlink.pk
Hi, I am Muneeb Ali. I work as an IT leader at a large company, and for a long time I struggled with short link tools that did not match how we actually work in Pakistan. Most tools were either expensive, overly complex, or simply not built for local usage patterns.
The biggest gap was WhatsApp. In our market, WhatsApp is not optional—it is the primary channel for customer communication, team updates, and campaign sharing. Many global shorteners are not truly WhatsApp-friendly, so sharing and tracking links felt harder than it should.
I created shortlink.pk first to solve this for myself and my teams: clean short links, direct redirects, simple analytics, custom branded names, and easy sharing for real-world Pakistan workflows. Then I opened it up so others facing the same problems could benefit too.
shortlink.pk is completely free to use. If it saves you time, helps you share better, or makes your campaigns easier to manage, then it is doing exactly what I built it for. You can reach me directly through the Contact page or on LinkedIn.
